I see you.

I see you every day,

Hating you each time.

I see you staring back at me,

With painted nails

And glossy lips.

and a broken smile

I feel your toxic confusion

Ruining the state of my mind.

I see you covered with doubts,

Struggling to stand straight,

The weight of your thoughts,

Pulling you down.

You stand there,

A fragile vase,

With dead flowers.

Resembling  an unwanted song,

on a happy occasion.

I see you complaining

about the weather,

When it’s sunny outside,

Dreaming of a gloomy day.

I see you hurt,

When everything’s

picture perfect.

I see you every day,

Hating you each time,

As you look back at me,

From the mirror.

Making me wish,

To see someone else,

Hoping to be someone else,

Anything but the reflection,

Smiling at me each morning.
